Sunset at Casa de los Gemelos
Welcome to Casa de los Gemelos, which means “house of the twins.” Remotely located on Playa Kuká beach in the Ria Lagartos Biosphere Reserve (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve), these exclusive, environment-friendly accommodations sit peacefully by warm Gulf waters on the northern tip of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Walk or swim for miles along the private, untouched Playa Kuká beach (with only four homes along the entire beach), or spend your days hiking, fishing or boating throughout the Reserve’s lagoons and lush landscapes, which teem with birds and wildlife.
This area of the Yucatan also offers a variety of rich history, beauty and tradition like nowhere else in Mexico, so make sure to build in time to experience the local culture. With so many options for both solitary relaxation and colorful community adventuring, your time spent at Casa de los Gemelos will be truly rewarding.
Besides boasting 360 degree views of this vibrant coastal landscape, Casa de los Gemelos offers a variety of accommodations that will cater to the needs of any traveller. The home consists of two lower suites, each of which include a living area, kitchenette and a private bedroom with a full bath. The upper unit consists of a large living area with a full kitchen and two private bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom.
This listing is for the Sunset unit, the single bedroom unit in the west half of the lower level of the house, sleeping two guests (with ability to sleep one more on an air mattress). See Casa de los Gemelos (entire house), Panorama, and Sunrise.
