Sunshine Cabin at Cebolla Creek Escape
Southwest, Colorado, United States
A great family getaway, Cebolla Creek Escape is a remote, family-run ranch that is self-sustaining. This special place in the La Garita Wilderness, offers a rare opportunity to completely disconnect. You’ll not find even a single generator at the seven unique and comfortable cabins (everything runs off of propane), but you will find plenty of privacy and picture-perfect views of the southwestern Colorado Rockies.
Recreational activities abound at Cebolla Creek Escape, with miles and miles of scenic trails for hiking, climbing and mountain biking. Wildflowers explode in brilliant color during the summer months, while the aspens blaze the mountainsides gold in the fall, making this an ideal spot for shutterbugs. The five stocked ponds and 1.5 mile stream provide guests with private fishing. Hunting is also a possibility, with archery season opening in late August and muzzleloader season lasting for nine days in mid-September.
Sunshine Cabin at Cebolla Creek Escape offers a beautiful deck upon which one may soak up the scenery and bask in the sun’s warm rays. This is a perfect retreat for a family, friends, or several couples to return to at the end of a long day of adventure, or relaxation, in the beautiful Colorado Rockies.
