At this time of year guests can ski or hike to the tent from Camp Bird Road. The 4WD road to the property opens late June or early July, depending on the amount of snow, and is open through October (high clearance vehicles necessary). In summer wildflowers and wildlife abound. You can hike to your heart’s content, with easy access to the Richmond Trail and numerous saddles and peaks.
