Lake San Cristobal Yurt
Southwest, Colorado, United States
Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of some of Colorado’s highest peaks. Sitting about 2,000 feet below timberline, this Lake San Cristobal Yurt is located in the San Juan Mountains high above the friendly little town of Lake City. Take in stunning views of the Lake Fork Valley, Lake San Cristobal, Sunshine Peak at 14,006 feet, and charming Lake City, 2,000 feet below.
As this is very near Ullr’s Knob, there is an opportunity to go yurt to yurt in summer months. Located just 1.25 miles from the highway along a wide and regularly groomed trail, with no avalanche danger in winter and a 4X4 road in summer, it is a good destination for the novice, laid back adventurer, as well as families.
